Here is a thread to voice games you would like to someday play and a place to gauge interests in possible games you are thinking of running. There already is a thread for posting ideas about games that people want to run/DM, but a place for players to post about games they want to see if a good idea too. I feel like it'd be easier to keep games that people want to play and games that people want to run in the same thread, and this one has the momentum right now, so if no one else minds, I think we should just keep that conversation going here. With that said, I thought of something else I wouldn't mind running sometime soon: Spirit of the Century, a 1920s pulp adventure thing that I think looks really cool. Oh, and more Mouse Guard. Are you guys going to get an evil and/or undead game going?

I think playing some Pulp and Noir type things could be fun. What does it mean by "pick up" Roleplay Game? Just that it is easy to jump into? [EDIT: Oh, "Spirit’s mission is to deliver an evening of fun, a “pick-up” game that requires little preparation, but provides hours of entertainment." There you have it. It sounds like everyone would play an evil/undead game, but I have not noticed anyone voicing interests in running it. But that's ok, just voicing interests and maybe someone will want to pick it up sometime. Right?

Are you guys going to get an evil and/or undead game going? Someone on Groovy Gamers ran a game with that same name, and if it the same adventure, well, I've already read through a lot of it. Unless there are more than one Spirit of the Century adventures? I still want to try Mouse Guard. I don't plan on running an evil/undead game anytime soon. If something comes to mind, though, I'll let everyone know. Also, Serenity does not have an adventure in the back of its book, but there are lots of NPC stats and sample PCs too, and I put the Shadowrun book on hold, so I'll know about that one when I get it.

...and I put the Shadowrun book on hold, so I'll know about that one when I get it. Shadowrun is another game that would be fun to try again. And try one of the updated editions. It may also help scratch that 'evil' itch as most Shadow Runners at least walk the moral line. [side note: Shadowrun has some elements I like; contacts and reputation are two of them. They are semi built-in options that help insert the characters into this underworld they inhabit.]

Reefwood: SotC is the name of the game. I don't know if you played it, or if you played an adventure by that name with some other system. I'm under the impression it's relatively popular, so I think either one is fairly likely. Do you know if you used FUDGE dice?
Rabbit: Yeah, if someone wanted to run a criminal/heist one-shot in Shadowrun, I'd definitely be interested.

It just caught my eye, so I read along as the game was played out but don't really know anything about the rules. I think it took place in a place called Tunguska.

Okay, so we're playing Den of Heroes next week on the 1st, right, and then Michael wasn't going to be able finish up this Mutants & Masterminds game on the 8th because of finals, right? Reefwood, did you want to run some Pathfinder? More Den of Heroes? Something else?

Reefwood, did you want to run some Pathfinder? More Den of Heroes? Something else? I believe we planned on playing Den of Heroes on the 1st and 8th instead of the 24th and 8th. Basically, it just swapped last Tues for this Tues because I was out of town last week, and then, next week is its regular Tuesday again. Of course, if everyone (Michael?) can't play next Tues or Rabbit won't have time to prep for playing back-to-back weeks, I could have something ready.

My status for the 8th is up in the air, and probably won't be decided until Sunday or Monday. I have a final on Wednesday the 9th and 2 papers due, so whether or not I play depends entirely on my progress on those two papers. It's probably best to assume I won't be there, and then see if things change. You guys should play whatever you want, though.

Does that mean no Den of Heroes? If we can't do DoH, I could run the next War Stories (Pathfinder) adventure as long as everyone else is able to play.

And I am down for some War Stories!
