Decided to even out the numbers a bit more. Raised charm and smarts, lowered Wisdom since it won't matter much for the few spells I get, and worried less about Con - hoping the Dex will keep my alive.

He has Swim speed 30 ft and doesn't need to make Swim check thanks to an Undine ability, and next level will probably boost Sense Motive, Spellcraft, and Survival.
Thinking of taking Rapid Reload to reload a heavy crossbow with a move action (instead of full-round action), though, this means Precise Shot (shooting into melee w/o penalty) won't come into play until 5th-level.
Also, I was thinking of taking this Alternative Racial Trait from the list of options:
The wording seems a bit off because it says you can heal up to 2 hp per level per day, so at 5th-level that would be 10 hp per day. But it also says you gain the "fast healing 2" for 1 round, but it would take 5 rounds to heal 10 hp. How would this work? Do you have to get in and out of the water every round to reactivate it for 1 round?
The traits I'm considering are:
Basic: Anatomist (combat) - fits into his hunter side
Basic: Devotee of the Green (faith) - nature
Basic: Ease of Faith (faith) - getting along with or at least tolerating others in a very different land
Basic: Scholar of the Great Beyond (faith) - fits the setting
Campaign: Missionary (outlander) - fits his story
