OK, so this is totally cheesy but it is also very addictive (for me anyways.) You can design your own superhero or whatever with lots of different overlapping 'stamps.' I figured if we end up playing a light hearted superhero game it could be fun to have people use this. Or if you just want to kill time... www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heromachine2/heroMachine2.asp

Hey, I also wanted to mention www.atomicthinktank.com/This is Mutants and Masterminds main page. One thing they have here is a forum area. Some people have taken upon themselves to do tons and tons and TONS of character builds for existing comic book characters. Actually if you google a comic characters name and "PL 10" you will likely be directed to one of these. Since we are all new to MnM this may be a good resource to look at how you can build certain tyes of characters and stay within the starting PL10. Word.

Thought I'd post screenshots of some of the characters we've seen so far. I redesigned my character slightly, (because Mikey was right, the faces really are terrible) and renamed him. The shadowy figure next to him is one of his duplicates. Attachments:

I really enjoyed Quandary. (Probably evident by how much dialogue I gave him.) Definitely a character I wouldn't mind seeing again. Attachments:

Here's my take on Harry's character. Unfortunately, that hero creator doesn't allow for blindfolds. Attachments:

You can't make a decent Brian or Brawn in that hero creator, so I scanned in my drawing of them and did a quick color job. Attachments:

Today I learned that you can make sections and colors transparent on that hero creator. I applied this knowledge to Franco's character. (Deluge? Hydro? Douse?) Attachments:

I just discovered that the Hero Machine website we've been using has a new version in development. It's only in an alpha stage right now, so it has more than its share of problems, but it already has much more versatility compared to the 2.5 version. Just thought I'd give a heads up in case anyone wanted to try it out. www.heromachine.com/heromachine-3-lab/I went ahead and made Brian and Brawn, two characters that couldn't be properly done in the old version. I'm pretty pleased with the result. Attachments:

I was messing around on the Hero Machine again, and made The Cesium Man. You may recall Franco's character getting into a (brief) fight with him, and blowing him up. Anyway, I'm quite pleased with the way his design turned out. Attachments:
