I might have something going on Monday night next week, but the other nights should be free.

Michael, are you still going with a Ftr?
Enric, are you going to continue along the Wiz path? Or make a new character for this one?

Yeah, I'm gonna stick with the wizard - I don't think I'm up for rolling up a new character before then.

Sounds good! In the next few days, I will open a thread with details specific to this adventure. Most likely titled, War Stories: Marching Inland. What I can tell you right now is that the brigade will consist of 21 soldiers: 1 Sergeant (Lvl3) , 5 Corporals (Lvl2), and 15 Privates (War1). The sergeant will oversee the corporals who in turn oversee 3 privates each.

Preston Shaw, lvl 2 Human Fighter
STR - 15, CON - 15, DEX - 13, INT - 11, WIS - 10, CHA - 8
HP - 18 + 5 (toughness) = 23
SKILLS Knowledge (Military) 5 Profession (Military) 5
FEATS Weapon Focus (Longsword) - Military Feat Weapon Proficiency (Repeating Heavy Crossbow) - Military Feat Toughness Combat Reflexes Quickdraw Point Blank Shot
EQUIPMENT Masterwork Longsword Masterwork Heavy Repeating Crossbow Masterwork Breastplate Masterwork Buckler (I'll figure out the rest of my gear before we play.)
Preston Shaw comes from a powerful noble family with a long tradition of military service. In fact, his father is currently a general. Due to this heritage, he has been (undeservedly) fast-tracked for a command position. However, he must pay his dues, so to speak, and was placed in this unit to gain actual combat experience before being allowed to advance.
He's arrogant, lazy, spoiled, and rather cowardly.

Looks good so far. One thing to mention is that each time you take a level in your favored class, you gain 1 extra hit point or 1 extra skill point. At least this is how it works in the Beta version of Pathfinder, and that is what I'm going to use for this one since I haven't had time to look over the final release in detail yet. Anyway, as a human, you can select any class as your favored class, so you may as well have it be Fighter unless you plan to multiclass down the road. Also, don't forget to calculate AC, saves, and attacks. Character creation/modification
Everyone will need to update their characters to the final version of Pathfinder rules. Since you are all humans, I think there won't be too much to change. Maybe just a class-related thing or two, but you all might not even be of a high enough level for the changes in your classes to kick in. Minor tweaks will be allowed.
I will be posting a basic (but probably incomplete) list of changes that I noticed from the Beta version to the final version, along with some other differences from 3.5, but of course, you'll need the actual rules to make changes (which I can provide).
Enric... I would like to see your character sheet. Especially the equipment just to see what you got. You could post it online, or I can just check it out the next time I come over.
icnivad... Sir Grolton is a human. You changed him from half-orc to human at the last minute. Just check out your previous posts in this thread on Page 4.
Rabbit... do you remember how we handled Rapid Reload? It's not a feat that normally applies to a repeating crossbow, and since how it works with other crossbows is to make the action one step faster, I'd say that you can reload a clip as a standard action (instead of the normal full-round action).
Michael... so far we have a druid, fighter, and wizard. All human. You can be any class or race. Any ideas?

Well, I think I'm going to be the brother of my last character, so I'll probably be human, or at least half-human. As far as class goes, are we sticking to the core classes for this? Am I right in assuming Pathfinder hasn't touched on any of the others?

Am I right in assuming Pathfinder hasn't touched on any of the others? Sticking with the classes in the Pathfinder book, and this includes prestige classes that have also been tweaked. You won't be able to take those until a few more levels but can start building towards one. EDIT: The classes in Pathfinder have been suped up, in part, to be on a more even level with the classes from the 3.5 expansion books, and it should be easy enough to convert non-core classes and prestige classes, but I just want to stick with what is presented in Pathfinder to get a feel for how all this new stuff works.
