This isn't a link but rather a question about links.
How do I make a link in a post? Including the part that lets me 'name' the link.
And follow up is whether I make a link in one thread to go to another thread on this site?

And follow up is whether I make a link in one thread to go to another thread on this site? Link to this site - Portland NRDYou click on the little "globe" icon/button that is below the "underline" icon/button. In the first set of brackets that say "url" you enter the URL like so, "url=www.whoa.com" but no parenthesis are needed. Then, you put the link name in between the two sets of brackets. Also, you can make a link to a particular thread on this board. Just open the thread, copy the URL from the URL bar, and insert that URL in the first set of brackets, like above. Although, I don't think you can link to specific posts in a thread because it seems like the posts don't have their own URLs. The closest I can get is to link a particular page of a thread. Page 3 of the Onward to Ash Mountain thread, or Onward to Ash Mountain, Page 3.
