A place to post upcoming movies/movie happenings of interests.
Some of us are playing a game Tuesday. If not, we should do this. I also just wanted to post a thread where we can point out/discuss movies.
Next Tuesday December 22nd at 7:45 at the Hollywood Theatre, The Grindhouse Film Festival presents Portland's greatest cinematic holiday tradition: the annual screening of SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT. A 35mm print of the 1984 Christmas classic.
SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT (1984) Since his parents were killed by a man in a Santa suit, a child grows up with a hatred of Santa Claus. Now, as a young man, he is forced by his boss at a toy store to dress up as jolly Saint Nick, and is finally pushed over the edge. On Christmas Eve, he becomes an axe-wielding psycho Santa, out to punish all who are naughty! Classic scenes include the sledding beheading, the toy store montage, the bloody box knife as a little girl's Christmas present, and crazy Grandpa terrifying little Billy with his tales of a rampaging killer Santa Claus.
