Player Feedback:
This thread will be a place I periodically ask the players for feedback on how they feel about the game. However, you do not need to wait for the GM's prompting. Players who want to post their opinions/feedback at anytime can do so in this thread.
Before the game starts I want each player to complete this survey on theme. Below are six over-arching themes that I feel will be a part of this Shadowrun series. I would like each player to rate these themes by their interest levels. Rate each theme 1-6. (1) meaning that you are highly interested in this type of theme for your games and (6) meaning that this aspect of the game has the least interest for you. Note that ALL of these aspects are going to be a part of this series to one degree or another. In different missions some themes will be in the spotlight more than others. I believe that variety is very important to keep the game fresh and exciting. What this survey does is to help me gauge the player's level of interest as I layout stories. One final note is that you should answer these questions as a player, not for your characters. You may really want to have a supernatural themed game and want to play a mercenary who hates/fears magic. That might even make it more interesting...
Themes:
Heroes for Hire (anti-hero)- We’re all just trying to make a living and for a Shadowrunner dirty work is what they do best. Though most runners have a code; a personal sense of morality and justice which guides them. Jobs that call for teaching scumbags a lesson or ripping off fat-cat corporations are the best kind.
Dark Mercenaries (loose morals)- No job too vile, no dirty deed off limits. Being a Shadowrunner means you go places no one else can go, and you do what no one else will do. If the money’s right you take the job, period.
Prestige (character/ world integration)- For a good Shadowrunner; it's not just what you know, it's who you know. Eventually a good Shadowrunner gets connected. Be it organized crime, activist groups, corporations, government, tribal or other a Shadowrunner develops special clientele that can count on him. They might even become a member of such a group. Furthermore, some Shadowrunners choose to walk the shadow's edge with one foot in the light. 'Public faces' such as private detectives, body guards, supernatural investigators, rent-a-mages, and other specialists are examples.
The Awakened World (supernatural)- A Shadowrunner's line of work inevitably brings them in contact with things outside the normal, and that’s the best part. It’s not just about the money, but where a job takes a runner. Learning the secrets of the "Awakened World."
Noir (detective)- There is a mystery behind every run. Most involve either greed, sex, or violence; if not all three. A smart runner knows this. And a smart runner knows that the most important part of the run is the leg work. Before the run even begins you should have all the intel on everyone and everything, or you won’t be living long enough to spend your nuyen.
Let's Rumble (combat)- When things go wrong is when the heavy artillery comes out, and those are the moments a true runner lives for. You may shoot a gun, pilot a combat drone, or let loose mana bolts but you like a good fight. Once you get the adrenaline rush of combat you can never go back to a ‘normal’ life.

Example:
1: Heroes for Hire (antihero)
5: Dark Mercenaries (loose morals)
1: Prestige (character/ world integration)
2: The Awakened World (supernatural)
3: Noir (detective)
1: Let's Rumble (combat)
So this person is most interested in playing an anti-hero type who is well connected and likes to fight. He would like a fair amount of the supernatural and some detective work. He is not so interested in playing missions where he has to do things that question his character's morals/code.
