***SPOILER ALERT***
I wish my google docs had a time stamp feature so I could show you guys a Mutants & Masterminds universe setting I have been writing the back story (human origins) for since at least 2010. It is way close to Prometheus, but mine might actually make sense.
BUT now if I ever get around to using it all the players are going to be like, "Oh, I see. He's doing a Prometheus."
And I know that Prometheus is also not the first Alien/Creators/Gods theory/story, but it's going to be the most notable for a long time to come.
In more news about similarities; did people hear about Guillermo Del Toro axing his planned movie adaptation of Lovecraft's "At the Mountains of Madness" because it would have been too much like Prometheus? That's a bummer. I bet Del Toro would have made that awesome.
