This thread will be used to keep track of and expand on information --news, hearsay, tall tales, etc-- that spreads across much of Westcrown but of which the exact or full truth is known to only a few (or none).
The truth will be listed first if it is known to the PCs, followed by any official claims (whether true or not), and then rumors that spread among the general populace.

OLD NEWSWhisperers- Rumor #1a: The fires of Hell keep back the dark, and those who do not fully embrace diabolism will be consumed by shadow.
- Rumor #1b: The dire consequence of Cheliax embracing of diabolism and its evil taint.
- Rumor #2: Tortured remnants of Aroden's spirit stalk the city that was to be his new home.
- Rumor #3: A curse placed upon the city by a previous mayor who died mysteriously.

CURRENT NEWSMother's Rescue- Truth: Six riders on horseback broke a prisoner out of an armored carriage escorted by ten hellknight armigers and a signifier.
- Order or the Rack: A lone hellknight carrying messages between the city and citadel was killed by bandits.
- Rumor #1: A squad of hellknights was attacked (some say slaughtered) by bandits.
- Rumor #2: A demon-possessed hellknight turned on his own squad and had to be put down.
- Rumor #3: Hellknights were transporting a fiend that went mad (some say an angel that broke free) and rained fire on its escort.
