This is an area to try and keep track of where we have been and who we have encountered; I will update this section periodically as the story progresses. Message the DM if you have any notes you wish to be added for any person, place, or thing.
The Burning Plague:
A sickness that was infecting the entire valley was traced to the silver mines of Duvik’s Pass. An expedition was sent to investigate, but the mines were full of infected kobald squatters. There was evidence the kobalds likely killed local miners, but a darker presence lurked deeper in the caves. Only the gnome, Sir Ziffaultabran and his canine companion, Brass...
A second expedition (including Ziff) was able to uncover a half-orc’s layer deep inside the mines. The half-orc known only as Jakk was a trouble maker in Duvik’s Pass, but never more than a minor criminal. During a long absence Jakk seems to have turned to worshiping Nerull, a powerful deity linked to evil and undeath. The second expedition was able to destroy him and cleanse the mines.
The small town of Duvik’s Pass is very grateful to the adventurers that were able to lift the plague from their community and life slowly began returning to normal.
Something’s Cooking:
While the adventurers recovered from the events at the mines they were given free room and board at Gendrew’s Gourmet, a tavern co-owned by the dwarf Gendrew and his human lover Andolyn. Both have knowledge and skills in the arcane arts and alchemy.
While the Andolyn was on a journey to Marsh Bay she ran into her ex lover, Wogan Puck. Things did not go well and they had a terrible argument. This was all completely unknown to Gendrew and the adventurers who were miles away in Duvik’s Pass. Enraged Wogan sent his imp familiar to Duvik’s Pass were it wrecked Gendrew’s study and set loose one of Gendrew’s unfinished culinary experiments; a calzone golem.
The adventurers arrived in time to save the tavern and Gendrew from any permanent damage. The imp escaped into the night.
A Hunting Trip Goes Wrong…
Michael did a good point on covering what has happened so far....
The Burning Plague:
It is now mid-Fall. And the leaves throughout the valley of Duvik’s Pass have begun to change color. Usually a pretty sight this autumn seems more like a foreboding harbinger.

Something’s Cooking:
The first specks of winter have begun to fall from the sky. While most residents of Duvik’s Pass nestle into their homes you and your friends convene outside Gendrew’s Gourmet. The smell of fresh baking lures you in but something is amiss.

A Hunting Trip Goes Wrong…
It is a long uneventful, snow-filled winter in Duvik’s Pass. As winter breaks Captain Kurdow invites the adventurers on a hunting trip.
Michael: Sir Ziffaultabran: Captain Kurdow has two cousins, and we were on our way to meet them for a hunting trip. We were going to a cabin on a mountain, located near a town that worships Hextor. We found one of Kurdow's cousins on the way up, dead. He had a gaping wound in his neck, and puncture wounds in both ears (possibly self inflicted). It seemed as though he walked down on his own from the cabin, and died of blood loss. His second cousin is tied up and unconscious in the cabin, and has gone completely insane. There were two other bodies in the cabin, both of which had all of their flesh eaten off.
So when we left off, we were outside the cabin, Talik was at the bottom of a small cliff, and the rest of us were at the top with 3 bodies (mauled by an unknown creature) we pulled out of a tree trunk.
