Harry, I can't remember if you have wireless internet at your place or not. If not, I need to copy my character sheet to my laptop ahead of time.

See you guys tonight!
Since it has been a while here is a recap of the last session:
A recap; • In search to cure Darvin’s impending transformation the group travels into the Great Orc Planes. • A group of four goblin druids confront, and then befriend the group thanks to the Druidic bond. The goblins are heading to The Hostel of the Sacred Stone, a refuge located within The Chain’s ruins. They are sure the sacred stone can help Darvin, and say the Silver Skeleton and local kobalds should be avoided. • The Hostel of the Sacred Stone is a dwarf tavern converted by orcs into a market-hostel where anyone traveling the Great Orc Planes can take haven (as long as they “adhere to the Tenants of Moradin”.) • While at the hostel Brother Marle and Ziff are able to trade their excess goods and learn the origin of the hostel and its benefactor, Saint Solinor Stoneheart. • Meanwhile Kuvpax sought out the local kobalds. The kobalds spoke of their great status as master trap makers (thanks to their ancient founder Yin Yensine), a troubled fishing season, and the Silver Skeleton. The kobalds believe that the Silver Skeleton is not happy and must be appeased before the fishing gets better. • The kobalds make no effort to stop Kuvpax’s exploration and even point out how to get to the Silver Skeleton. Kuvpax nearly drowns in a large chamber, likely one of the kobalds’ traps. Kuvpax also finds the Silver Skeleton in the chamber (it is incased in some sort of acidic jelly.) • Brother Marle and Ziff go in search of Kuvpax. Trash digging kobalds lead the two into lower chambers where they battle aquatic creatures and deal with traps. • The three adventurers are united and fight off the koblads and aquatic monsters. Brother Marle is briefly submerged when he steps into an underwater vent where he glimpses gems and jewels among the muck.
LEGEND OF SAINT SONNLINOR STONEHEART
Ages ago, a monastery dedicated to Moradin was constructed in the nearby mountains near the massive lake which fed a massive aqueduct system. Many dwarven workers, having dedicated themselves for centuries to the aqueduct project, retired to the monastery to spend the remainder of their days in quiet contemplation of the mountains. Unfortunately, the mountains were otherwise occupied.
Roving packs of stone giants attacked and eventually destroyed the monastery, filling its tunnels until nothing but the courtyard of its entrance hall remained, open to the stars and surrounding rock. Even still, dwarven pilgrims continued to come pay their respects to the fallen monastery, camping in this courtyard—a shrine where, it was said, they received oracles from the monastery’s blocked tunnels, whispered from the spirits of its former monks.
As the pilgrims came, so the stone giants remained to attack them. That is, until they ambushed one group, killing them all save for a dwarven cleric of Moradin. Sated on the flesh of the other pilgrims, one of the stone giants challenged the cleric to explain why his god was stronger than the giants’. This the cleric was proud to do, offering a display of his spell magic…which he used to shape the surrounding stones, facilitating both his escape and the giant’s capture. At this point, the cleric gave a further display, this time of his god’s mercy, allowing the giant to live if he would swear to abide by Moradin’s Tenants. The stone giant agreed, eventually to the point of complete devotion. He took the name Sonnlinor Stoneheart (“sonnilnor” being dwarvish for “those who work stone” and for the clerics of Moradin), and became the protector of the shrine, sheltering all pilgrims from his former giant tribesman.
In time, Sonnlinor Stoneheart gained favor with Moradin himself, earning the status of paladinhood. However, things worse than stone giants lived in the mountains. A blue dragon, Azure Sandstorm, claimed the mountain as its own—perhaps drawn by the prospering shrine and the offerings of gold. The giant defended the shrine as best he could, casting stones from the courtyard as his sanctified throwing rocks. Still, he knew the dragon would best him, and in a final moment of sacrifice, the giant pulled down the surrounding mountainsides in a massive avalanche to crush and bury them both. A final group of pilgrims, already on the road, arrived at the shrine to find it destroyed. That night, a final, whispered message came from the former monastery, telling the pilgrims that the giant had become a saint of Moradin, and that his remains should be taken to a suitable resting place en route to the nearest city, so that others would hear the tale and know the power of Moradin, that could bridge the enmity between the races.
Yet all that could be excavated of the remains was a fragment of the stone giant’s skeleton and the largest stone they could find from the former courtyard. These, the dwarves carted from the mountain, stopping after many long days at a humble dwarf tavern and inn. Enjoying the hostel’s taproom and truly wondrous beer, they knew the hostel to be as good a resting place as any, with dwarves who would come from far and wide to hear the tale of Sonnlinor Stoneheart, and agreed to leave his holy reliquaries with its owner.
In the years to come all of The Chain would be overrun by orcs. The tavern became a final battle ground when a story similar to Stoneheart's played out. A dwarf cleric took mercy on a dying orc and taught him the ways of Moradin and showed him the healing powers of the skull and stone. The stories have been passed down for many years from Keeper to Keeper, all ironically have been orcs ever since.
When the Tenants of Moradin are broken within the Hostel the skull and stone immediately lose their healing powers. It is only once the tavern has been cleansed and the trespasses atoned do the artifacts regain their healing qualities.

Hey Rabbit, sorry about your car. You suffer any lasting injuries? Broken bones, horrible scars, permanent nerve damage?
Ok, I've given the basic courtesy. Now on to the important stuff. Since Franco's not up for M&M, Tuesday's open. Does it work for everyone to reschedule D&D to then?

As for D&D, it sounds like you all are in the middle of a rad adventure full of great story! But isn't Darvin temporarily out of the picture? I was thinking of making dinner for a friend on Tuesday, but since our usual starting time isn't until 8pm and/or with Darvin perhaps not being around at the start anyway, this should work for me since it sounds like dinner should be over with by the time I am needed. Or if you need to finish out this one without me, that is totally cool too.

I was in a bad car wreck Saturday. my car is really damaged and may be totaled. The next day Jamie was taking me to a doctor to check on some neck pains I am having from the wreck and on the way home from the appointment we were in another bad wreck. This time I hit my head on the dash board.
Big shout out and props to icnivad here who was able to come help me out both times. He is truely the cat's pajamas.
But back to fantasy; Darvin is close by to the others. So you are welcome to join us! aaand we can work Darvin in easily at just about any time in the session.
When ever you get to the game we can fill you in on everything and what has happened to Darvin. ;D

So, no accident Sunday? The pattern is broke?
Tuesday works for me. I'm looking forward to it. And Reefwood, welcome back to portland! We just cured your character in the last session, and he is recuperating near where we all are. It would be pretty easy for you to rejoin.
Should we plan on the usual? Mikey and Franco's place at 7? ...Since we don't really need Franco to start.

Sorry if last night’s session was a little wonky. I did not have as much time to mentally prepare as I prefer. I think it went ok, but the potential to do a better job was there. I also think we all had some cob webs to shake off from the long gap. Funny how fast it can slip. Schedule: So I think that next week the 18th through the 24th is out, but would people be able to play at all on that weekend? Would Saturday (24th) or Sunday (25th) at any time be available? I know Franco works so the daytime might not be available. Otherwise, 29th through the 31th are also open for me. I would like to play soon and also be able to have a longer session to hopefully wrap this one up. I know spending too many sessions in the same dungeon can grow stale and I don’t want you guys losing interest in kobald genocide.

I can't do the 24th or 25th - I'm actually hosting an all-day game event at my house on the 24th, which I'll tell you folks the details of as soon as they're squared away. Of the 29th-31st, I can't do Friday or Saturday, but Thursday's open - I can put off a second Mouse Guard session until next month.
Also, while I'm thinking about it, I'm going to be out of town from November 1st through November 8th. If you guys can all get together, though, you should feel free to play without me.
