Welcome all! ;D
Feel free to post character ideas or setting questions in their respective threads. I put in some *place holder* posts if I need to add any new info at the top of these threads later. The scheduling thread is self-explanatory. Anything else can go here, but of course, sometimes all these topics overlap and intertwine.
Also, I don't have nearly as much interbot access as before, so it could take a day or two for me to respond.
And woo!!!

And here come the questions! If a rogue has two weapon fighting and sneak attack and both attacks hit while the target is denied a Dexterity bonus do both attacks get +1d6 damage? My thinking is that it is limited to +1d6 per round but could go to either/any damage dealt in that round that meets the requirements. Sneak AttackTwo-Weapon Fighting (Combat)

RE: Sneak attack on multiple attacksAnd here come the questions! If a rogue has two weapon fighting and sneak attack and both attacks hit while the target is denied a Dexterity bonus do both attacks get +1d6 damage? My thinking is that it is limited to +1d6 per round but could go to either/any damage dealt in that round that meets the requirements. It looks like the answer is YES, which makes sense to me. I remember Wendi doing major damage with this, or along similar lines, in icnivad's campaign, and it seems like Pathfinder works like 3.5 in this regard. This the thread which had the answer, along with a bunch of other sneak attack info (which was too much for me to read): paizo.com/threads/rzs2k35q?Sneak-attack-multiple-attacksI think the only time the sneak attack would only work for the first attack is if the situation changes by the next attack. For example, if you drink a potion of invisibility to get a sneak attack, you get it for the first hit but then become visible again, so you are no longer sneaking for the next attack.

How would this option effect skill points for the 1st level of PC class? Is it effectively the 2nd level (similar to HP)?

RE: Skill PointsHow would this option effect skill points for the 1st level of PC class? Is it effectively the 2nd level (similar to HP)? Skill points are a lot easier to handle in Pathfinder, and YES, treat them like you would for any other 2nd-level character. If you get 10 sp from your NPC level and 6 sp from your PC level, you can stick those 16 sp anywhere but not more than 2 sp per skill since you're a 2nd-level character.

Another question: How are you handling XP progression with multiple levels of characters?

RE: XPAnother question: How are you handling XP progression with multiple levels of characters? XP has been streamlined too. I can't exactly remember anymore how it worked in 3.5, but level doesn't matter in Pathfinder. If a party of 5 PCs defeats a batch of goblins that total up to 500 XP, each PC receives 100 XP regardless of their individual level.

RE: Character LevelCorrect! PC1 characters are 1st-level and NPC1/PC1 are 2nd-level, so PC1 characters will level up first. It may work out to a leapfrog effect or sorts. I think NPC1/PC1 characters will potentially have access to more hit points and skill points first, while PC1 characters will have more starting wealth and advance their PC class abilities before the NPC1/PC1, though, not ahead of what is expected in the campaign. Either route will put you a little ahead of the game but nothing crazy. Maybe a few more hit points to absorb another attack, or a better weapon to dispose of foes faster, or better skill at climbing, or a climbing kit to help get up that wall.

I'm looking at the Poisoner variant for rogue and curious how acquiring poisons would work in the game and what poisons could be found in Westcrown. Seems like the kind of place poison might be popular (among the right (wrong?) people.)

Seems like the kind of place poison might be popular (among the right (wrong?) people.) Westcrown is a huge city, and there are plenty of shady elements, so there will be the opportunity to acquire poison. Not quite sure how it'll work, but a Gather Info (which I think is now Diplomacy) and/or Know(local) will probably factor into it. Should have a better answer by Friday.

Cool, and don't spend too much time on this before Friday. It is a maybe option I just wanted to see if it was one you are even open to.

Are we using the same deity list as War Stories? They don't list deities on the SRD, as far as I can tell.

Cool, and don't spend too much time on this before Friday. It is a maybe option I just wanted to see if it was one you are even open to. Good to know. Though, I did give it some thought while biking around last night, and the skill DC could be based on the DC of the poison with perhaps a modifier based on how easy it is to administer (i.e. ingest +0, injury +2, contact +4, inhale +6 ...or something like that) as well as some roleplay element (i.e. ice dragon poison might be harder to find in the desert) and DM discretion. RE: DeitiesAre we using the same deity list as War Stories? They don't list deities on the SRD, as far as I can tell. Yes, the same deities as the Core Rulebook, which itself doesn't go into much detail on the gods and goddesses. Although, I did get the Inner Sea Guide the other day and haven't had much time to look at it, but each deity has a good write as well as listing of demigods, archdevils, and plenty of other worshipped beings past and present.

Can we select Alternative Racial Traits in the Races page of the Advanced Players Guide for these?
Michael: Any more thoughts on what you are considering? I ask since you won't be there while we are starting our character creation so we might want to have an idea how we fit together as a group.
Edit: I think I answered my own question regarding alternative racial traits. They are not traits in the "Additional Traits" sense, but instead are an option to replace a base racial trait. Is it ok to take one of these?
